2024 -2025 (Series “Awakening”)

This painting took a long time to be born. Like most of my works.
It was repainted many times, layer by layer, searching for its true form.
The first version of this painting is in the carousel. When I covered it with varnish, I didn’t consider the quality of pastel and spoiled the canvas. For some time I left it aside, and later decided to finish it. And this process took a long while.
Now I consider this work complete. That “spoiled” moment turned out to be a happy accident – it led to improvement, new ideas and skills.
Now I’m learning to put a full stop in time and move on.
